HopeWay Psychiatry & Associates offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual therapy, and specialty care in areas such as child/adolescent psychiatry, women's perinatal psychiatry, eating disorder and nutritional services, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression, and Veteran and First Responder mental health.

HopeWay Psychiatry & Associates clients do not also need to be enrolled in a formal HopeWay program in order to see a psychiatrist. 

A psychiatric evaluation is typically conducted by a psychiatrist to assess diagnosis and determine whether medication or other medical interventions are appropriate. A therapy session is talk-based treatment typically led by a licensed therapist. These sessions are focused on skills, insight, and behavior change.

We are in-network with most major insurance providers. However, we encourage you to confirm your plans’ specific benefits directly with your insurance provider prior to your appointment.

We offer 30-, 60-, or 90-minute appointments. An initial evaluation is typically scheduled for a longer slot (60–90 minutes) to allow a thorough history and assessment.

Yes, we offer both in-person and telepsychiatry appointments.

With your consent, our psychiatrists can communicate with your primary care physician or existing therapist to coordinate diagnosis, medications, and treatment planning. Ask your provider about their specific process for releases of information and care coordination.

Primary mental health disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders), eating disorders, child and adolescent mental health conditions, women's perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, and Veteran and First Responder–related conditions such as PTSD.

Yes! When booking your appointment, ask specifically for a diagnostic assessment or second-opinion visit. 

This is individualized based on your diagnosis, medication regimen, and stability, commonly ranging from monthly to every few months, per your prescribing psychiatrist's recommendation.

HopeWay Psychiatry & Associates welcomes self-referrals as well as referrals from other providers. A referral is not required to schedule, though your insurance plan may have its own requirements for coverage.
