Primary Mental Health Disorders

Primary mental health disorders are conditions in which psychiatric symptoms are the main concern. These may include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. They can affect mood, thinking, behavior, and daily functioning in significant ways.

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions characterized by persistent disturbances in eating behaviors and related thoughts and emotions. We treat anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). These conditions often involve intense preoccupation with food, weight, body image, or control.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health

Child and adolescent mental health conditions affect emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning during developmental years. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral disorders. Symptoms can present differently in young people than in adults and may impact school performance, relationships, and family dynamics. Early identification and support are important for healthy development.

Women's Perinatal Disorders

Perinatal mental health conditions occur during pregnancy and the postpartum period and include depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and mood disorders such as postpartum bipolar disorder. These conditions can develop during pregnancy or within the first year after childbirth. They are influenced by a combination of hormonal, psychological, and social factors. Perinatal mental health conditions are common and treatable.

Veteran & First Responder Mental Health

Veteran and first responder mental health conditions are often related to repeated exposure to traumatic events, high-stress environments, and occupational demands. These may include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. Over time, cumulative stress can impact emotional regulation, sleep, relationships, and overall functioning.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment used primarily for major depressive disorder, particularly when symptoms have not improved with medication. It involves the use of magnetic fields to stimulate specific regions of the brain involved in mood regulation. TMS is FDA-approved and has been studied for its effects on treatment-resistant depression.
