As the Chief Clinical Officer & Director of Clinical Services at HopeWay, Najah Dail, LCMHC, LPC, is responsible for leading the clinical team and coordinating and managing clinical programming. Her responsibilities include clinical oversight and leadership at all locations, clinical program development, developing clinical strategic goals, program expansion, and the continued development of HopeWay’s clinical model. 

Najah is a licensed professional counselor and a board-approved supervisor in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Chowan University and her master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University with a focus on community counseling. 

She has over 14 years of experience in the mental health field and is trained in Relational Trauma Repair, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy. Najah has experience opening outpatient, residential, and independent living programs and has worked in substance abuse programs, residential treatment facilities, school settings, community-based programs, and outpatient settings. 

In addition, Najah believes that all people have the capacity to create and sustain positive change within themselves. She believes in working in partnership with clients and utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. Her therapeutic approach is holistic, compassionate and client- centered and always involves meeting people where they are. 

Outside of work, Najah is a huge women’s basketball fan. She loves to watch and cheer on the South Carolina women’s basketball team. She also enjoys drawing, writing and spending quality time with her daughter and family.
