About Alexi Pappas: Alexi Pappas is a Greek-American Olympian, award-winning filmmaker, and author of the memoir Bravey: Chasing Dreams, Befriending Pain, and Other Big Ideas. Known for her resilience both on and off the track, Alexi is a vocal advocate for mental health awareness, sharing her journey to inspire others to prioritize their well-being.

Natalie Stewart is a prominent community leader. With a background in finance, she shifted to media, and now co-owns Charlotte Lately, a platform celebrating the Charlotte community. Under her leadership, Charlotte Lately has evolved into a hub for local stories, businesses, and non-profits, emphasizing diversity, creativity, and community connection. In 2023, Natalie and her husband Jonathan launched the TV series "Lately with Natalie and Jonathan Stewart,” exploring local stories and highlighting the essence of human connection and resilience.
Kevin Marra, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist who has served as HopeWay’s Director of Medical Services since opening in 2016. Dr. Marra oversees the medical team, including the psychiatrists, primary care providers and nurses. Dr. Marra’s true passion is working with clients and families, and he specializes in treating young adults struggling with mood disorders and individuals diagnosed with personality disorders. Through a partnership with Novant, in 2022, Dr. Marra started seeing clients at the Michael Jordan Clinic and Hope Community Clinic to bring vital psychiatric services to patients without insurance. Prior to HopeWay, Dr. Marra was employed through Carolinas Healthcare System (now Atrium) where he was involved in the opening of the Mindy Ellen Levine Behavioral Health Center in Davidson.
