Rachel Franquemont, LCMHC, LCAS-A is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. She works with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, relationship issues, and trauma. She also has unique experience working with the geriatric population, supporting clients with cognitive disorders, grief and loss processing, and stroke rehabilitation. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, which deepened her understanding of how neurological and cognitive issues impact daily life.
Education & Training
Rachel earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and her Master of Science in Communication Science Disorders from Emerson College. Since beginning her mental health career , Rachel has provided individual, group, and couples therapy with a focus on depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, intimacy disorders, trauma, and personality disorders.

Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and experiential modalities. She is deeply committed to helping her clients recover which is inspired by both personal and family experiences with mental health and substance use disorders.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her children.
