HopeWay Promotes Suicide Prevention Month

September 03, 2024

September is Suicide Prevention Month. During this month, we work to change public perceptions, spread hope, and provide vital information to those impacted by suicide.

Suicidal thoughts, like other mental health challenges, can affect anyone - regardless of age, gender, or background. These thoughts should NEVER be seen as normal, as they often signal deeper issues that need attention.

Kevin Marra, MD HopeWay Psychiatrist and Director of Medical Services joined Janine Davis and the Charlotte Community Connections podcast to discuss this important topic.
