“Never silence your pain; never silence your struggle.”
Before speaking at HopeWay’s Covington Educational event on May 2nd, Kevin Hines sat down with Kristen Miranda from WBTV News to talk about his inspiring story of surviving and thriving after a suicide attempt. Both Kevin and Dr. Alyson Kuroski-Mazzei stressed the importance of asking for help when you need it, knowing you are not alone in pursuing healing and hope, as well as the amount of success that can be achieved from the education of the treatment program.
There are so many in our community that are suffering, Dr. Kuroski-Mazzei explained. As the first residential mental health treatment facility in Charlotte, NC, Hopeway aims to support those dealing with an array of mental illnesses – such as bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders and more.
