Hoops for HopeWay Tournament Results

The 2017 Hoops for HopeWay Basketball Event was a slam dunk! HopeWay's gym was packed with players, spectators, sponsors, dancers, cheerleaders, and entertainers - all showing up as champions for mental health.  

There was a lot of talent displayed on the court during the 3-on-3 tournament, but the champion team to win it all was Southeast Psych. Congratulations on your win, and thank you to all our participants, both in the tournament as well as the skills competition, for breaking a sweat for a great cause.

This day would not have been possible without all the teamwork that happened off the court. Many thanks to our sponsors, whose meaningful support, especially in this inaugural year, contributed greatly to the success of the event. We are also especially grateful to our event co-chairs, Ann Tabor and Dru Dougherty Abrams, whose tireless efforts around the clock resulted in a day of fun entertainment and education for everyone involved. They, along with a core group of 50 volunteers led by Kathy Izard and Jane Hunter, were the ultimate Champions for Mental Health. Thank you to everyone for bringing Hope to the community in a new way.
