Understanding Trauma: Defining, Diagnosing and Treating

HopeWay and Charlotte AHEC have partnered to develop a series for providers to discuss the topic of trauma. This series will focus on gaining a better understanding of trauma by reviewing the diagnostic criteria for PTSD, clinical assessment tools, evidence-based treatment modalities, emerging approaches to trauma treatment and more. Clinicians will broaden their knowledge of trauma treatment while gaining additional tools to use in their own practice.
